Yesterday this one girl named Marie Mead, told us a game about say some Yup'ik words and then the word at the end of the game you have to say "Tap" it is not the word that you think it is. And you can not smile or laugh or you loose and you have to do something in front of the people. And the other thing we did was a Yup'ik dance we did and it was the Wolf Howling dance, it was so fun to do, I hope we do it again today. I am having a lot of fun with the elders of all over the place.
We learned how to Yup'ik dance and they taught us games what they used to play along time ago. And they taught us how to say the Yup'ik words for the game and the Yup'ik dance I had lots of fun.
Yesterday all of us learned Yup'ik stuff from the elders. I had so much fun yesterday. And all of us learned a Yup'ik dance from Marie Meade. And today I can't wait till we learn other Yup'ik dances!!!
what i learned yesterday we learned Yupik dancing and we wrote down their names and Yupik names and we did game that was fun and funny and then we practiced the wolf song i liked the song what she showed it was fun dancing.
yesterday i learn how to play a game and also i learned how to Yupik dance and, also I've written Yupik words.it was fun yesterday and i had lots of fun because i was at Togiak with my aunt. she hug me very hard and i hug her even more harder. i missed her every day even when i came to twin hills with my dad and sister.I'm still her friend,and always will be and we will be with each other when i decide who i want to be with. where friends and she is my aunt.
yesterday i learned lots of stuff like some Yup'ik story's and it was lots of fun i like yup'ik story's i am glad that i learned those story's and i like the yup'ik dancing song it is a good song i like to dance it we are going to dance for the elders it is going to be very fun to dance for them.
The elders told us there Yupik names and there english names and they told stories and what they did when they kids like us this old lady said her grandmother tied a tied it to her and thats why she wont run away.when that lady was teaching that song called The Wolf Song it was so fun and we were playing a game it was fun.when we were saying the Yupik Falospe i heard someone saying it to.
What I learned from the elders that were here yesterday is that I learned a game and it is pretending that we had lice on our heads. A dance that is a cool dance and I hope that we get to dance the song what we learned and have lots of fun with the elders.
